As Executive Producer of the Emmy Award-winning show, DailyMailTV, I managed all aspects of production operations to ensure cutting-edge material for a fast-paced syndicated news magazine. Working as EP for DailyMailTV was energizing. I was motivated to deliver engaging editorial content with a clear vision. I led creative direction and ultimately a full-scale reimagining to create a highly engaging hour-long TV show featuring global talent during the second season of the show. One of the achievements I’m most proud of was the execution of my initiative to integrate in-show-sponsored programming. I worked in conjunction with the sales, marketing, business, and legal affairs departments to implement a significant paid-media initiative, which generated millions of dollars in revenue. In addition to my primary responsibilities as EP, I cultivated a work ethos centered on forging strong teams and evolving the vision of the show. I held workshops each season for the DailyMailTV and dailymail.com staff to team-build and collaborate. I also inspired my team to maintain their work ethic and innovation during the height of Covid-19. In order to proactively mitigate the impacts of the pandemic I developed and executed a plan to create green-screen studios in the homes of the hosts. Sustaining production of the show was my top priority, and due to its success, I later replicated the studio at corporate headquarters for the host, correspondents, reporters, and influencers to utilize for content creation. This not only generated more creative content, but it also saved on production costs as well. In 2017 I became a consultant for CBS Studios International to launch The Insider and Entertainment Tonight across the Middle East and Asia markets. As an Executive Producer and industry expert, CBS Studios International leadership relied on my experience and advice to strategize and make the launch a success. I recommended and executed adapting the shows’ formats to align with culture and social values. In the U.S. both programs stood as the top entertainment news magazines in their respective markets. I wanted to capitalize on that success and promote it internationally. I effectively communicated and collaborated with both U.S. and international teams throughout the project. My objective was to meet schedule and budget targets for show pre-production, production, and post-production phases. In order to do this I created production guides and other valuable resources to secure procedures and support show delivery from all departments. The successful completion of the launch was paramount to me. I focused my energy on several methods of workplace development and culture. I personally cultivated positive relationships with host networks, while also conveying the importance of company standards and best practices.

My role as Co-Executive Producer was a time of rapid promotion and professional development. In the early stages of my career as an Associate Director in 2004, I was tapped by CTD to help launch The Insider. The opportunity I had been waiting for, my career highlight, occurred when I was asked to step into the coveted role of Executive Producer, 12 years and 6 promotions in the making. This position enabled me to showcase my talents not only as a business professional but as a leader invested in the people and culture who created the final product of our show. As a senior member of production, I not only managed budgets and led production, but I also had the opportunity to steer editorial decisions and content. It was exciting to rise within the company and make more important industry decisions that directly impacted viewers.

Senior Broadcast Producer at The Insider was a position that required the orchestration of producing and covering large televised events such as: major award shows, inaugurations, the Olympics, and the Super Bowl. I was in a unique position in this role at a pivotal time in history. Over the course of my time as Senior Broadcast Producer, televised content exploded in demand in an online format. Although we would come to rely on this as multimedia platforms evolved, I was responsible for meeting new demands in the industry. I championed the reinvention of The Insider to omg! Insider by helping to secure partnerships to enable the broadcast of original online content. In 2012 I was instrumental in forging and implementing the partnership, brand licensing, and content agreement between CBS Television Distribution and Yahoo. It was a successful effort to pool content between The Insider and Yahoo's celebrity news division, omg! It involved retitling the show omg! Insider and creating franchises within the show to represent the groundbreaking collaboration between two media powerhouses.
