I flew solo in this role and collaborated as a creative resource with local and national marketing firms and clients to deliver results-driven, SEO-focused, strategic content. This included web sites, digital and engagement campaigns, branding, social media, broadcast, videos, blog posts, podcasts, and creative concepts.

At this place, I was often in the field – literally. Working in the St. Louis office of this Silicon Valley headquartered company which developed the leading field data app in agriculture, I managed and created content for all Climate FieldView™ customer communications, including blog posts, podcasts, email campaigns, social media, web and brand advertising. Created and produced the "Around the Farm" podcast. Worked closely with Climate field, technology, science and weather experts to create impactful content messaging to drive customer acquisition and retention. Developed campaign plans and content calendars. Established standard operating procedures for all aspects of content development and promotion. Analyzed metrics to measure results and optimize content.

Going out on my own was one of the scariest, most nerve-wracking, terrifying and wildly wonderful thing I have ever done – and I wouldn't change a thing. I learned business insights well beyond the boundaries of the creative arena, became adept at working with a wide range of personalities, and yes became familiar with the fine art of bill collection. This all helped me to grow personally and professionally. Partnered with local and nationwide advertising agencies and marketing firms to create copy, content, public relations and creative concepts for a wide variety of clients, including NASCAR, Anheuser-Busch, Washington University in St. Louis, and Husky Corporation.

This was a strange and interesting place. (Maybe that's why I was here for a while.) I got to know people I still work with today, grew as a creative and learned to navigate an extremely unique work environment. Oh, and I met my wife here, which to this day is still my greatest win in the business world. Writer for print, web, outdoor, direct mail, collateral and broadcast. Diverse range of clients included business-to-business, retail and consumer branding markets. Worked closely with art directors and designers and assisted in day-to-day management of creative department, including client contact and presentations.
