The Wise Guys mission is teen pregnancy prevention and we focus on adolescent males. Essentially, I have to sell the program to schools, community centers, etc. Bascially any place with a group of boys I can teach the curriculum to. Then, I go and teach it. It's an evidence-based, grant-funded program that is approved by the state and nationally recognized.

Theater Arts, Language ArtsLeadership* Represented south area middle schools on Superintendent's Teacher Advisory Council, a 14-person committee. Worked with C-level-equivalent leadership to craft solutions to district-wide problems affecting 19,000 employees. Collaborated with superintendent and other top-level officials to solve district-wide problems such as communication for inclement weather days and morale over background checks. Also helped identify best practices by helping interview 25 candidates to select "South Area Teacher of the Year" to compete for the county distinction.* Chaired South Area Teacher Advisory Council.
