As publisher, I was charged with the management of ten health science journal titles, representing more than $5 million in annual subscription and commercial sales revenue, for the world’s largest science, technology and medical publisher. I was responsible not only for the financial performance of these journals, but also oversaw their production, distribution, fulfillment and marketing. In addition, I was responsible for contract negotiations with domestic and international editors and societies, and was charged with plotting creative strategies to achieve the company’s aggressive growth and acquisition goals.
