Designed and Developed Flow Sheet application to abstract the extraction of instrument data to a common component library. Built DataScraper application to cull all fields through a combination of web services and available flat files into a SQL Server data store. Reported off of available fields using SQL Server Reporting Services, and moved all information into data warehouse cube. Took a lead role as .NET evangelist, unifying multiple disparate Windows DNA, Oracle, Solaris, Python and Unix applications under the .NET platform, migrating when necessary, and building integrated BizTalk solutions when applicable. Built multi-dimensional MOLAP cube to analyze allele frequencies in the examination of the human genome project, seeking to identify which iterations, when identified, indicate the likelihood of mental illness. Conceptualized and fully-developed all application interfaces for BioInformatics System.

Architected/Built Taxonomy application to provide integrated term management with Documentum for Home Office and Field Office users, providing “branded” conditional term management. Developed Proposal Team Tracker web app. to provide field and home office users the ability to develop and manage RFPs and Proposals. Developed Project Collaborator web app. to integrate various data stores, utilizing Microsoft’s Patterns and Practices. As Integration Specialist, evaluated and created a horizontal prototype based upon Microsoft BizTalk 2004 as a solution for the Application Integration Project (AIP). Assessed Microsoft products for federated management and enterprise single sign-on. The prototype developed was selected as the basis for an enterprise application framework based upon .NET, typed datasets, factory objects, data transformation services (DTS) and a web service layer.

Wrote C# parsing engine for FIDX-compliant XML catalog file, and developed GUI for Tablet PC-based application. Created Document Library, custom web parts, and web services to facilitate batch document imports into a Microsoft Sharepoint 2003 implementation. Wrote a robust reporting tool for display and printing of 57 budgetary reports using Crystal Reports for VS.NET. Reports included bar, pie and various charts; tables; multi-volume displays, and ad-hoc queries. These reports became the formal documents against which all budgetary funds are allocated for the state. Implemented Microsoft HeadTrax application, building new and updated interfaces to SAP 4.2 platform. This app. feeds real-time data to the AmTrak CIO and Board of Directors. Completed Feasibility Assessment in the migration of HeadTrax from Windows DNA to .NET and C#. Developed added functionality to the Maryland Public Television ThinkPort project, unifying varied server controls under secured transactional processes.

Architect/Team Lead in development/sale of SCORM & IMS-compliant .NET e-Learning platform to Microsoft Corp.. Co-wrote RFP response landing $1.7m project. Implemented Air Force Review Boards Agency intra/extranet. Performed Feasibility Assessment for Tablet PC field automated forms processing solution. Wrote “CRM Implementation and Integration Strategy” for vertical market clients, which became approach in completion of CRM implementations for numerous organizations. Developed Notifier for Microsoft CRM app. Early alpha adopter of Microsoft CRM. Published applications and acquired MS Gold Certified Partner and MBS Certified Partner status. Produced marketing collateral for over 500,000 partners, vendors, and potential clients. Created corporate web site/portal for employees, prospective customers, and clients. Supported existing internal and external client infrastructure. Evangelized MSIB methodology for client engagements, support, and request-handling with Microsoft products.

Designed, developed, tested, and maintained Premier web application web site using ASP, VB, COM+, SQL Stored Procedures, SQL Triggers, SQL Views, JMail, and XML. Migrated Sourcer application to web for high-end data consumption and web ease of use ( .NET framework, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, ADO.NET, SQL 2000, XML, and Sourcer).

From proposed POC developed, tested and implemented ApparelNET enterprise .NET application, which handles all aspects of business operation including, but not limited to, style development, labeling, shipping, inventory tracking, receiving, personnel tracking, production tracking, quality tracking, source to gross payroll, attribution tracking, supplies tracking, turnkey solutions development and management, customs package integration, and in-plant production scheduling. Application builds all images dynamically through GDI+, and includes complete, extensible multilingual capabilities. All on-screen content (images, text, error messages, validation, exception handling, system help) are dynamically generated and modified based upon a users language and dialect settings. This project was a member of the Microsoft.NET Blaze initiative in which several pilot projects were fully supported by Microsoft as the .NET framework, languages, and IDE were still in development.

Global Commerce in Business Group: Developed JSP and EJB-based dynamic UI for a Payment Engine Support Tool in tracking/resubmitting of Wire and ACH MQ transactions. Developer of Corporate Affairs’ Arts and Science Council and Political Action Committee Intranet fund-raising sites. Built UI framework and DB enhancements for Corporate Affairs’ Ticketing and Relational Pricing Model web sites integrating XML across Coldfusion, J2E and legacy CICS systems. Expanded Florida Plus web site to include reports, data entry, personalized UI, data warehouse with OLAP interface, and content template enhancements. Designed database schema and data interchange specifications, and technical documentation for AIMS/Community Development Banking. Compiled team code repository. Served on BofA .Net testing team in migration to C# and .Net framework.

Developed/implemented multi-lender, multi-product brandable marketplace interface (“StatusWeb”) B2B and B2C software for the acceptance, underwriting, and decisioning of loans and loan products. Wrote MSMQ-based business MTS objects to integrate e-mail events into an XML-based workflow through VB and PerlCOM. Designed new interface for “LenderWeb” – the B2B backend of the Lend-X platform, and performed component, interface, and data object migration to the new framework. Created VB COM objects to support XML-based transactions, an ADO-based connection broker and business rule specifications. Worked on a 30+ person team including Business Analysts, DBAs, and Developers to ensure the product was thoroughly unit and system tested, and successfully transitioned into production. Built extensive working relationships with clients such as S1, Freddie Mac, Sallie Mae, and MSN in the implementation of the Lend-X platform.

Oversaw Web Application division, tailoring projects to suit the needs of internal clients. Designed "Balanced Scorecard" web application for all of Siemens, PT & D for CEO and monthly financial reports. Worked with Sun and Oracle consultants in data warehousing analysis. Assisted in the design of corporate infrastructure and information security policy; served as Administrator of internal and external test and production web servers. Gained hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst routers, IBM Netfinity RAIDs, and Nortel switches. Wrote COM and COM+ objects to perform Exchange Server troubleshooting for clientele across multiple domains. Solved WAN and NTLM security issues including work with Peoplesoft development. Served as Lead Developer and Project Manager in the development of the Resume and Resource Allocation and Tracking Tool for Human Resources.

Published weekly version of student newspaper to Web, adding "Web-only" content where applicable. Designed ASPs using VBScript and ADO, implementing an easy-to-use system for future Online Directors. Created web templates for integration into SQL server (HTML, ASP, Javascript, ADO, VB COM, SQL). Served as Technical Adviser for a wide range of Adobe Pagemaker and Mac issues; furthered team skills, delegation of power, and management principles.

Acted as solutions provider to Honors Program, designing a comprehensive and expandable web site easily updateable by the Director using only MS Access. The site integrated SQL Server 7, ADODB, and VB, but is simplified into web forms and COM objects.

Implemented Access and DB2 databases into a full production to serve entire campus in the research and indexing of periodicals, journals, and archives. Resolved security issues using Fortezza, SSL, and IIS 4.

Served in the interim position of Webmaster until a full-time employee could be hired. Later operated under the full-time Director in the creation and successful implementation of a new web site for the campus (students, faculty, staff), alumni, trustees, and parent's council (ASP, VB, ADO, COM, SQL, CSS, Javascript, IIS, ActiveX).

Tested, developed and implemented a Logistical Bid Calculator, a pure-Java web site, and MS Project groupware using ODBC (HTML, Javascript, Java). Provided NT troubleshooting and help desk support for a wide range of Global Enterprise Systems clients.
