Fundraising for LSCC was a fulfilling endeavor as we built and ran a 501 (C) (3) to provide college tuition for students who's parent, guardian or caregiver had been stricken with cancer. Many times the children of cancer victims have to forgo higher education efforts either because the major bread winner is gone or disabled or perhaps due to guilt over leaving the home under difficult circumstanced. The charities main goal was to raise funds to provide these students with a second chance at a future.
