Jeff is an experienced attorney, communicator, public policy professional and story teller. He specializes in procurement lobbying oversight, litigation, global compliance and operational risk, with experience providing financial crimes litigation support to banks undergoing Department of Justice and Government Regulatory Agency Investigations. His practical experience is complimented by a JD and 20+ years of proven experience in law, policy development and leadership. As the VP, Public Policy & General Counsel for the Autism Society of America (ASA), Jeff led the overall organizational relations with the Administration, U.S. Congress, U.S. Supreme Court, state legislatures, federal government agencies and state and local government bodies, including serving as a witness and spokesperson before all such government entities. As General Counsel, Jeff managed of the legal affairs of ASA providing oversight of intra-departmental communication and legal support of intra-departmental programs and initiatives. He served as the 1st Vice Chairman of ASA's Board of Directors and the Chairman of ASA's Government Relation Committee. Additionally, Jeff has served on the Executive Committee and Steering Committee of the Collaboration to Promote Self-Determination (CPSD), the Friends of National Center on Birth Defects and Developmental Disabilities (NCBDDD) Advocacy Coalition, the Advisory Committee of Autism NOW (the ARC – National Autism Resource & Information Center and the Autism Task Force for the Consortium for Citizens with Disabilities (CCD). Jeff served on the Professional Advisory Boards of New York Families for Autistic Children (“NYFAC”) and was the Vice President of the World Autism Organization (WAO).Jeff graduated from Lamar University and earned his law degree from South Texas College of Law. He is a certified mediator and interrogator.Jeff has been blessed with four children, Natalie, Ben, Joe and Gracie.
