Cleveland/Akron, Ohio Area

• Developed and tested firmware and software for products in the Research and Development group.• Wrote multithreaded Win32-based network message diagnostic program that interfaced to a proprietary network of fire alarm control panels through the RS-232 port of a PC. Created WinHelp and HTMLHelp files that described program operation and network message contents.• Redesigned main processor board for industrial fire alarm control unit reducing cost and enhancing features.• Created DOS-based and Win32-based CPU detection programs in assembly language.• Authored 75% of the R&D ISO 9001 procedures and work instructions and edited the rest of the documents. Performed internal quality audits of other departments in the organization.
