Jeff Mitchell is the Founding Lawyer of NOVA Injury Law. His background including exposure to both plaintiff and defence sides of personal injury law. NOVA Injury Law has a dedicated practice in accident, injury, and disability claims throughout Nova Scotia. Jeff attended Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. He was awarded the Gold Key award during his graduation. Prior to attending law school, he completed his BA (Hons.) in Criminology at Saint Mary's University in Halifax. Community involvement has been an important component of Jeff's professional life and personal interests. He ran a division of a nation-wide youth program, spearheaded the creation and success of a Halifax based community development fund, and has over 5 years of governance experience between two Universities. Jeff is a trained Restorative Justice Facilitator, and also sits as a Member of the Triathlon Nova Scotia Board. He is a sitting Police Commissioner, and past Legal Counsel to Fusion Halifax. Jeff was named by 21inc. as one of Atlantic Canada's Top 50 Emerging Leaders in 2013. He was honoured to be named Saint Mary's University Alumni of the Year in 2015.
