• Assisted VP of Talent & Organizational Effectiveness in planning and executing a presentation on “the experience economy” to managers across the campus—an initiative brought on and supported by the president of USC• Co-created & co-delivered training material for HR partners and hiring managers on Korn Ferry’s Interview Architect; set up and delivered 5 sessions with up to 18 partners per session• Designed and facilitated an exercise at the request of the Assistant CIO for Enterprise Infrastructure and Services for new ways of collaborating across silos• Co-developed exercises aimed to guide business units in developing vision, mission, and core values; facilitated retreats to encourage employee engagement, inclusion, and team collaboration for both USC Libraries and USC Talent Acquisition (topics included: fostering integration and collaboration across silos; opportunities to improve overall effectiveness; seeing the future vividly)• Assisted USC Auxiliary’s Learning & Development team in editing training material for their Passport Program—an on-boarding training series for new managers

• Aided in recruiting and orienting prospective students interested in the USC School of Social Work • Represented the School of Social Work during campus tours, approximately 2-3 perspective students a week during• Provide feedback to the Office of Admissions in recruitment and admissions strategies• Managed communications with new and perspective students via Salesforce • Communicated the nuances of being a student in the MSW program to perspective students• Assisted in planning events such as New Student Welcome, Information Sessions, Finance Your Future information sessions, and admission mixers—both formal and informal; manage communication with volunteers, visiting alumni, and industry professionals during these events

• Met with 4 to 6 students a week and assessed for social, behavioral, and psychological issues• Strategically executed evidence-based interventions and/or referred to local services to improve the overall well-being of the students and their families • Led bi-weekly group supervision meetings to discuss current cases, evaluate best practices, and train in evidence-based interventions; including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Problem-Solving Therapy • Implemented 2 Loss and Grief groups to accommodate students who recently lost family members and/or friends to trauma, aging, or suicide, among others; students and their respective teachers reported an overall improvement in classroom and social behaviors

Under the Happiness is NOW Inc., a 501(c)(3) umbrella--a nonprofit organization based in Orange County, CA--I co-created Team Millennia Juniors (TM Jrs) with Danny Batimana. TM Jrs is an after-school dance team program that educates young teens the value of dedication, teamwork, integrity, and leadership through the art of dance. Team Millennia (the adult team) was featured on MTV's America's Best dance crew, season 2 & 3.
