Jeff Wang is the founder of ClassGaga, an EdTech company on a mission to give every child a perfect personal tutor. ClassGaga offers AI-powered math learning products, vertically integrating adaptive learning algorithms and LLM base models. Jeff was the founder and CEO of Learnta, which successfully developed and scaled up a leading adaptive learning system. Before that, he founded John Jay Online at the City University of New York (CUNY), which carried most of the critical functions of an online higher education institution. Trained as an academic, Jeff served as an accreditation evaluator for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education, a consulting editor of Educational Technology Research and Development (ETR&D), and a reviewer for several educational research journals and books. Jeff received his Ph.D. in Instructional Technology from University of Georgia and conducted his postdoctoral research at University of Pennsylvania and University of Virginia.
