Manager of Architecture for telecommunications, local search and digital media startup company. Rationalized the corporate infrastructure and technologies across 8 development teams. Created strategies for future technology directions. Created mobile development team to build mobile applications (iOS & Android) with integration to digital advertising platforms for Soleo, Verizon, Sprint and Boost mobile (over a million downloads of the apps). Managed design and strategy for commercial REST API that could be used by third parties to access Soleo’s business, natural language and search services.

Technology architect for startup company building cloud brokerage platform (integrated with Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Compute Engine & VMWare). Worked with AWS, Azure, GCP and VMware to design a SaaS Cloud brokerage system that worked across all of the major cloud platforms. Also, worked in the consulting practice directly with executives and customers to understand requirements and design solutions to be built by team of 500 developers offshore.

Worked with the corporation’s employee communications VP to deliver a new interactive communications and collaboration platform globally (based on Microsoft’s .Net and SharePoint 2010/2013 hosted on AWS and VMWare). Part of the business case was driven by a need to quickly integrate new employees acquired through mergers and acquisitions into the corporate culture and communications. Lead the design and architecture (UI/UX, database and software design) for an onshore (UX, Infrastructure, Project Management, and QA) and offshore development teams.

Development manager for the corporate SharePoint 2010 platform for Xerox (target audience over 140,000 global employees and approximately 50,000 external partners and resellers). Directly managed thedevelopment team, architecture, Information Architecture and Content management teams in addition tooperations for legacy portal environments. Developed new corporate communications portal and new portal the global learning organization (for training all 180,000 employees and partners). Developed complex targeting system to guide users to the best training on the Learning portal based on their job code, organization, country, etc. Managed a team of 14 onshore and 9 offshore people. Successfully managed first major XIM project to utilize an Agile development methodology (Scrum). Ensured Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliance for all business processes.
