 As a grade 2+ employee, I was the relief manager of the shop when either the manager or assistant managers were not available to work. This meant I was responsible for opening and closing the shop, managing the cash inside the shop and the safe and also banking the money when required. Customer Service was vital to this role and I was regularly commended by a lot of the customers in the shop for my extensive knowledge of the job and everything that came with it and also for being very friendly and welcoming to the customers.
