The Human Rights Center conducts digital investigations in partnership with organizations like Amnesty International, the Atlantic Council, and the United Nations. The Investigation Lab’s researchers use open-source data and tools to identify, document, and verify potential human rights violations and war crimes around the world.- Conducting open-source research using OSINT techniques, including geolocation- Parsing data and building interactive visualizations using Python and JavaScript

- Worked with Rep. Katie Porter's campaign staff on data, tech, and cybersecurity initiatives.- Oversaw cybersecurity efforts including securing each staffer’s personal devices and accounts, implementing 2-factor authentication, and training the organization on cybersecurity best practices.- Developed a partially open-source Python utility to increase voter turnout by providing voters with their nearest two dropboxes and nearest two polling locations via SMS text using PDI voter contact data, the Google Civic Info API, the Mapbox Geocoding API, and Impactive dynamic variables and scripts.- Wrote a Python utility that converts CSV text data into flags (searchable IDs) for PDI.- Built a volunteer engagement tracker in Airtable that included a base, interfaces, and automations.- Created a turf/voter contact tracker using BigQuery and Google Connected Sheets to synthesize PDI data.- Created reports to help monitor direct voter contact and volunteer recruitment efforts using PDI, VAN, Airtable, Google Data Studio, Google Connected Sheets, Google Colab, and Google Apps Script.

- Participated in a one-year leadership and advocacy program that trains community leaders to shape and implement public policy in California (while employed by the Department on the Status of Women).- Researched, drafted, and advocated for a state bill (SB 592) to address teen dating violence in schools.

- Coalition-Building and Interagency Work: Organized interdisciplinary cross-sector meetings to advance policy. Facilitated work of the Family Violence Council, Justice & Courage Oversight Panel, Mayor’s Task Force on Human Trafficking, San Francisco Collaborative on Human Trafficking, and Commission on the Status of Women. Participated as Council Member and Departmental Representative of SF’s JUS.T.I.S. Governance Council, and as voting member of the SF Collaborative Against Human Trafficking’s Steering and Public Policy Committees.- Data Management: Reported available data and assessed how the Department could benefit from enhanced data collection methods and tooling while serving as Departmental Data Coordinator.- Data Analysis and Reporting: Synthesized metrics for quarterly and annual reports. Authored the Violence Against Women Prevention and Intervention Grants Program Year-End Performance Summary.
