Provision of specialist, mental health anti-stigma consultancy services to various overseas projects in collaboration with Implemental Worldwide (www.implemental.org) and Sue Baker OBE (Director of Changing Minds Globally (changingmindsglobally.com) and Founding Director of Time to Change England & Global).Current clients:- UK Department of Health & Social Care’s ‘UK Overseas Territory Mental Health Anti-Stigma Strengthening Programme’: supporting programme delivery across various UKOTS to empower local organisations and Champions to develop and lead new anti-stigma projects.- The Lithuanian Ministry of Health and Institute of Hygiene Mental Health Centre: supporting their mental health literacy and anti-stigma programme with technical advice, strategic direction, and training design & delivery for their country-wide network of Project Coordinators and Mental Health Ambassadors.Recent clients:- January 2022: Consultancy services provided to Basic Needs Basic Rights Kenya (www.speakup.basicneedskenya.org): leading the recruitment and induction of a new project post and providing technical advice on Lived Experience Leadership and Champion empowerment.- May 2021: Consultancy and technical advice for Implemental Worldwide, delivering technical advice and toolkit content for MH4U, a developing mental health anti-stigma campaign in Ukraine.

Current clients and projects include:- Consultancy services for Mind (www.mind.org.uk); leading the qualitative research and evaluation element of their ‘Anti-Stigma Communities Insights Project’.- Consultancy services provided to York Ending Stigma (www.yorkcvs.org.uk/york-ending-stigma): including specialist supervision for the project coordinator and technical advice on mental health lived experience leadership and Champion support.- Consultancy and training services for Stamp It Out (www.stampitoutcountydurham.co.uk): co-designing and delivering mental health stigma and discrimination campaign training and supporting the development of their Anti-stigma Ambassadors programme.Recent clients and projects:- October 2022: Associate Facilitator with JKChangeWork (www.wherethemindgrows.co.uk): co-designing and co-facilitating a suicide awareness and postvention programme for workplace settings.- January to June 2022: Associate Facilitator with JKChangeWork: co-designing and co-facilitating workplace wellbeing programmes for Wellbeing Champions across a range of voluntary & community sector organisations.- April 2021 - design and delivery of bespoke training for Trafford College Group’s ‘Safeguarding Week’ staff training programme; an interactive exploration of stigma, discrimination and unconscious bias, in the context of preventing harm in workplace and educational settings.

As Freelance Project Evaluator for Kyra's 'Route to Recovery' project, I am responsible for leading the evaluation and impact analysis of this 4-year, National Lottery funded programme. Building and implementing the project evaluation framework, alongside the Project Manager and participants. Yorkshire & North East regional campaign lead for Time to Change, England’s campaign to end mental health stigma and discrimination. Combining my excellent people skills with my passion for amplifying the voices of others and my drive to affect positive change. Key responsibilities:- Coordination of 8 Hubs and 1,300+ volunteer ‘Champions’ across the region- Development, delivery and evaluation of face-to-face and online training packages, including a key focus on upskilling and empowering Champions to co-deliver sessions- Specific remit on equalities and inclusion; effectively targeting our work towards marginalised and disadvantaged communities- Building and maintaining networks and partnerships; connecting people and projects to share good practice and maximise the reach of the campaign- Using evidenced-based, impact research to demonstrate the value of building anti-stigma approaches into broader public health strategy and policy- Strong communications focus, including event facilitation and engagement of media opportunities - Regional responsibility for accurate reporting of operational activity and budget compliance.

Direct management of a team of 9 staff and 10+ volunteers, with a passionate focus on empowering people to design and lead their own support and recovery solutions.- Leading the statutory Independent Mental Health Advocacy (IMHA) and the Community Mental Health Advocacy Services, delivering person-centred advocacy solutions to adults across the Kirklees locality- Co-design and delivery of Kirklees Council’s innovative ‘Peer-Led Brokerage Service’, empowering people to use Personal Budget awards to create effective mental health support packages - Co-design and leadership of the mental health lived experience, peer support and advisory group- Design and delivery of advocacy awareness training for clinical staff and other professionals- Ensuring services were accessible to diverse communities, with continuous equalities impact monitoring- Influential and highly regarded member of the Mental Health Partnership Board, leading on lived-experience representation in the development of policy, strategy and continuous improvement plans
