I am an animation director at Plastic Milk, a company I co-founded in 2006. We create highly effective, illuminating, and visually-exciting animation for a wide range of audiences. Our portfolio includes award winning children’s TV series, corporate films, title sequences and short films.I focus on helping clients harness the power of animation to overcome communication challenges. Often they have a complex product or service that they know is of high value to their customers but find it hard to explain the benefits in an engaging way. In other cases they might be struggling to get employees to engage with a new system, or be attempting to shift the perceived market position of a product or brand. We work with the client to clarify their problem and identify the best way to solve it using visual storytelling. Sometimes clients come to us with a script, which we help them refine. In other cases, we start earlier in the process and run a stakeholder workshop to clarify the problem, customer pain points, key marketing messages and to explore potential solutions.Whatever the starting point we are able to take the project from script right through to completed animation. This includes several client review points along the way, including: script, storyboard, character design, style frames, animation, voice over artist and music selection, sound design and final mix. The end result is an effective and engaging animated film.
