I have worked in the architecture and interior design industry since graduating from Edinburgh College of Art in Interior Design. Passionate and focused with entrepreneurial spirit, I founded Bernard Interiors in 2008 and over the last 13 years my interior design practice has earned an enviable reputation for designing exceptional interiors, with a tailored approach, delivered on time and within budget. As a practice, we work with clients to facilitate their dream lifestyle or business aspirations and our goal is simple; to exceed their expectations. Everything we do is tailored to the vision of our clients with impeccable attention to detail and we are passionate about the delivery of the work we produce. These factors are the driving force behind my accomplished team of interior architectural designers and procurement specialists. My experience has led Bernard Interiors to offer a breadth of services; we provide turnkey solutions, consultancy and procurement services for a variety of sectors, including; residential, commercial with specialist knowledge in later living, healthcare for the elderly and dementia care and hospitality throughout the UK and overseas. I have created and fostered a can do approach with my team and strongly believe in providing an open culture where training and development are at the core. In 2019 I commenced a professional practice lecturing role at Northumbria University, coaching the next generation of Interior Designers and we continue to hold strong links with the University. As a practice we hold a number of prestigious accreditations, demonstrating our commitment to excellence and professionalism. We are a BIID registered design practice as well as an SBID member. In July 2020 we also became affiliated to Arco, the main body representing the retirement community sector in the UK. We also have links with the National Innovation Centre for Ageing.
