I'm an American copyeditor, proofreader and writer living in Cardiff, Wales. A Miami Herald columnist at 16, I went on to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications.After I moved to the United Kingdom in 2005, my work expanded to include writing, editing and proofreading print and digital communications for the UK government—including the Office for National Statistics and National Strategies—as well as universities and not-for-profit organisations. My articles, short stories and humour pieces have appeared in online and print publications both in the US and UK. I’ve written for Slate, Stylist, Reader's Digest UK, McSweeney’s Internet Tendency, Nerve, The Guardian: Cardiff blog, among others.
