I proudly serve the Oklahoma Army National Guard. For the past 21 years, I have challenged myself to learn, train and educate myself in many areas. Beginning as a Private First Class in Basic Combat Training, I rose to the many challenging military schools that followed the next several years leading me to my current rank of Master Sergeant (E-8). I have been fortunate to have served in many areas and have learned an incredible amount during my tenure. I am blessed to have served alongside many outstanding mentors along the way. I certainly would not be where I am today without them. I hope to serve another 20 years, God willing. I will continue to challenge and educate myself to be a better, stronger leader for those with whom I serve. I take pride in wearing the uniform and proud to say I serve with some of the best men and women in the world.

Managed Security Clearances and incident reports for the Brigade (consisting of approximately 1800 Soldiers), processing those requests in a timely manner using the JPAS/DISS system, proper documentation of all requests, daily communication with the State Security Team and Battalion Security Managers on open case files; managed daily tasks in trackers to report to upper-level leadership.

Supported the Governor's COVID-19 Response Team as a Senior Non-Commissioned Officer in the Command Cell directly reporting to the Personnel Officer. Assisted the Human Resources Officer with all personnel functions, such as daily tracking of all Soldiers activated on the mission, travel and logistics, awards, and daily monitoring of personnel needs while on duty. Tracked daily spreadsheets on Excel to report to upper-level leadership on the status of the mission and Soldiers, processed travel vouchers and pay issues, and brainstormed with the team throughout the mission on resolving any issues that would arise.

Working within a team to build a new Project Management Office (PMO); assisting current projects within the health innovation program area and preparing to spearhead multiple upcoming large-scale health projects for the State. Currently working with the Acute Disease Services Team on some of their data migration projects, to include implementation of a new disease reporting system and an updated system to address case investigations and contact tracing for COVID information and statistics.

Initiated a process to help the company deliver their strategic initiatives which included a total of 127 projects. Working alongside the CIO, helped re-write the 2020 plan, which consisted of 54 projects to complete by the end of 2020. Kicked off new projects, helped earlier projects get back on track, and helped to create a workflow process to assist the organization achieve their goals utilizing the PMBOK methodologies (waterfall, agile, and hybrid). Worked with the CIO and Vice President of IT to develop a plan for standing up a PMO.

Managed an at-risk, multi-million dollar training project serving over 1800 service members and 10 different organizational units. Performed various functions including risk analysis and mitigation, identifying communication channels, and determining change management strategies. Developed detailed requirements documentation and functional specifications. Streamlined operations and processes to increase the efficiency of the training management system ahead of schedule, and improved data quality by 55%. Expertly developed and implemented change management strategies to support successful delivery of the project deliverables.

Played an essential role in spearheading marketing project to promote new program in the Oklahoma City VA Health Care System. Managed multiple projects and events through initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing phases of the project life cycle. Streamlined and implemented new strategies for each phase in the entire project process. Introduced innovative approaches to enhance performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction; reached approximately 7,000 veterans on new program and enrolled approximately 1,000 veterans to program. A major contributor to the development of all medical center projects, including critical path and design projects, budgeting, planning, policies, and workflow prioritization.

Spearheaded the Federal Tuition Assistance program for a statewide education program serving over 7,500 service members of the Oklahoma Army National Guard. Provided the direction to the development team; delivered projects on time and within the $600K program budget. Established and led program business rhythms to monitor technical and financial status to achieve strategic objectives. Planned, tracked, measured, and reported on the status of a variety of projects throughout the entire project development life cycle. Coordinated and collaborated with 100+ colleges and universities, providing training on government policy and program requirements.
