At ASU College of Health Solutions, I designed many innovative materials for the college including internal department projects and for the external units who needed help with their marketing & communications for both print and digital applications. Projects range from promotional pieces, event-oriented pieces, and graphics to support the website. During my employment, I worked full time in the office for 11 months and then part-time remotely for 6 months.In addition to working on projects, I met & collaborated with the client. I also contacted the print shop on their behalf and communicated all specs and information needed to get the project ordered and in the print queue. Being highly organized & a multitasker, my attention to detail on all branding was vital. This start up company helps real estate agents advertise “farm” their area. They offer postcards & newsletters for realtors to use to help promote themselves each month. Since my employment, I’ve added 32 new call to action categories with up to 80 designs per category totaling over 2,600 postcard design selections. I initially worked remotely as a contractor & then transitioned to a full time employee. On a daily basis I worked with up to 6 project managers. I also got project requests for promotional pieces to design custom postcards, newsletters, brochures, e-mail blasts, ads, flyers, folders, pricing sheets, email signatures, logos, envelopes & seminar pieces. As they grew, I trained & managed an overseas artist that I delegated projects to. I’ve trained 4 people with different skill levels. I was a package designer helping to get their new look implemented into all of their packaging templates. I also got to design in store hand-outs, a few flyers & seminar signage. I was also sent on assignment to work at PetSmart Corporate Headquarters for four months.
