•Develop, plan, and coordinate COL co-curricular events including monthly COL major programs focused on diversity, legal issues and current social issues, new student orientation, and COL Commencement. •Coordinate community engagement activities such as MLK Day of Service, Justice Bus (Free Pop-Up Legal Clinic for undeserved populations) and help support the FAFSA clinics with Promise Scholars and the Public Interest Legal Foundation.•Oversee and advise 10+ student organizations. This includes leadership training, supporting administrative needs, assisting in planning and marketing of events.•Collaborate with Admissions, Career Development, Financial Aid, and Counseling departments to provide students with resources and training as needed. •Assist in Title IX and student conduct investigations. •Oversee and manage Student Affairs Social Media platforms and COL weekly newsletter.•Report to Interim Director of Student Affairs and COL Dean.

Participated in multiple Cash for College Workshops at local high schools. Worked with local students and their families to navigate and complete FAFSA and Dream Act applications as well as provided encouragement and explanation of college expectations.

Observed and assisted middle school classes. Worked with the cooperative teacher to help facilitate lesson plans and work with students individually and in groups as needed. Assisted in grading, planning, and classroom management.

Helped create, implement, and maintain a community outreach program/counseling clinic that included individual and group counseling services for children, adults, and families offered through the school, free of charge, to local student and families. Recruited, organized, and managed the clinic while providing individual, group, and grief counseling.

Supervised and helped facilitate a local chapter of Youth and Government. Fostered independence and confidence in the students while providing positive opportunities for civic involvement to strengthen their connections with their communities.

Supported counseling staff, attended IEP and 504 meetings, met with struggling students, presented guidance lessons, and support for specific student populations, including, at-risk, GATE, freshman, and new students. Actively consulted and worked alongside onsite staff.

Planned an intensive leadership weekend conference for high school students. Specifically worked with a group of 10 students to create a safe place to ask questions, discuss difficult topics, facilitate connections, and overall growth within the program.
