Recruited as the first non-pastoral hire for City Church, a non profit church plant in St. Petersburg, FL. In this multi-faceted role, I direct communications, programming and events for our rapidly growing organization. I oversee connecting people within the church ministry and lead by caring for our community and city. In 2019, I facilitated an organizational brand update and continue to manage the execution of that brand through the design and dissemination of our marketing materials. Waging peace in the city of St. Petersburg is primarily my passion and secondarily my job. I'm blessed to have both in this part-time role with City Church.

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

Just shy of a year with the agency, leadership asked me to spearhead marketing, PR, social media and lead generation strategy in the first formal marketing role for the company. I oversee design, development and distribution of all public-facing marketing materials, including website (WordPress), social media, presentations, digital advertisements, print materials and press releases, and direct the graphic design department. I earned leadership’s first public speaking engagement at the industry-leading Experiential Marketing Summit, and collaborated and rehearsed executives for the presentation. I applied, secured and disseminated communication for our recognition in Event Marketer’s “It List” for Top 100 experiential agencies in 2018, and again in 2019.

At DICK'S Sporting Goods, I worked alongside a fierce team of women to spearhead internal and external communications for the company. I wrote and distributed corporate communications to 5,000 employees through email, SharePoint and TV. I oversaw small and large-scale corporate events for New Era, Bose, Reebok and other major retail brands, averaging 50 per year. I managed public relations and associate engagement initiatives for key company projects, involving:Launching the company’s first-ever celebrity partnership with multi-platinum superstar, Carrie Underwood, and leading product integration at New York Fashion Week runway event. Developing full-year associate communications plan for Official Sporting Goods Retail Sponsor of Team USA. Securing regular media mentions in ESPN, SHAPE, Women’s Health, Cosmopolitan and other top industry outlets.Establishing an employee contribution incentive program for The DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation.
