I founded this agency to extend my expertise in charity marketing and fundraising and indulge my passion for publishing, while nurturing a brood of curious, chaos-loving kids. As Jen Taylor Publishing evolved and expanded, I joined forces with my husband (a first-class designer, hat-tip) to form Thinkforest Media.For NGO clients, including World Vision International, Providential Homes and Helping Hand, I provided communications and change management across print, digital and video mediums to global and local internal stakeholders; knowledge management, including development of a global online collaboration and innovation hub; and marketing materials across print and digital media.For publishing and corporate clients, including Collective Hub, Messenger Books, Murdoch Books and Ecoview Australia, I provided a full range of editorial services from project management to research and development, plain English writing, structural editing, author management, design briefs, copy editing and proofreading—for print and digital media.

After the birth of Rose, my first child, I returned to Compassion Australia part-time as a product manager, developing and implementing end-to-end Church Partnership and Bequest products.

Acting in this role until my maternity leave, I managed the national team of Church & Partner Relations Managers and Assistants (10 staff in 4 state offices), overseeing state and national relational fundraising strategies to achieve fundraising targets, including key national events, products and campaigns.

In this role I developed and managed end-to-end, tiered Church Partnership products for different church markets, including research; promotions: film, web, print, direct mail, events, campaigns; servicing and reporting: market penetration, ROI, CRM maximisation, retention strategies, customer engagement, new opportunities. This product was a key acquisition and retention tool to date and was subsequently launched by Compassion USA and UK. I developed strong relationships with Compassion International to ensure all products aligned with global strategy and marketing deliverables, and presented at Compassion International's Partnership Conference in London in 2009.

Weldon Owen is an international coedition publisher and packager of illustrated nonfiction books. I managed adult and children’s publishing lists, including successful growth into new markets, identifying new business opportunities and nurturing coedition and custom publishing relationships. This involved managing multiple publishing projects with multimillion-dollar budgets and minimum print run of 50K worldwide, from initial concept to finished books. I also attended the Frankfurt Bookfair.Clients included Harper Collins, Simon & Schuster, MacMillan Books and the University of California Press.
