Provided technical advisor support across the company portfolio to ensure that BP obtained maximum value from borehole image logs to assist with well planning, reservoir characterization, volumetric assessments, and risk mitigation. I provided assurance on all aspects of image log data including acquisition strategy, data QA/QC, and appropriate interpretation workflows including sedimentology and structural studies, fracture identification, assessment of sub-seismic scale faults, determination of in- situ stress from borehole breakout and drilling induced fractures, and thin bedanalysis. As domain champion, I also provided technical expertise to data management teams with ongoing efforts to restore and integrate legacy data.

Supported an unconventional horizontal drilling program providing geological interpretations of San Juan Basin reservoirs. Responsible for planning development of well locations, coordination of well-site geologists and operations teams during drilling, and provided geological input for well design and logging programs in a mature coal bed methane field. Ensured compliance with all BP common standards, including detailed offset well reviews, model for trajectory planning risk, support preparation of pore pressure forecasts, and create planning documents. Built geo-cellular RMS models to support planning and forecasting well and field performance.

As a subject matter expert for borehole image log data, I contributed to reservoir characterisation for teams in exploration, development, geohazards, drilling and production. I focused primarily on field characterization across the company portfolio, including evaluation of the Triassic Brigadier and Mungaroo formations in the North West Shelf fields, and the Jurassic Browse and Plover fields, by providing integrated studies on stratigraphy, depositional environments, and reservoir issues such as geometry, connectivity, heterogeneity, and net sand estimates.
