Let me introduce myself. My name is Jennifer but most call me Jen. I have been a part of the restaurant industry for 27 years. At 15 years old, I got my first job at National Coney Island in Rochester Hills, MI busing tables and doing dishes. Back then, I would have never thought this industry would end up being my career, let alone being as rewarding as it has been for me. My experience is extensive and not limited to one role. I would say I am a hybrid. I have worked roles in both the B.O.H and F.O.H. Line cook( & fry cook), prep cook, dishwasher, server, bartender and managing. I have executed them all. I have had the pleasure of working in fine dining,casual dining and banquet style dining for larger scaled events. My managing experience is relatively the same. Exceptional customer service, problem solving, team building and coaching. I am passionate about this industry and I would say I have stayed for one reason, the people. The most rewarding part to me is the conversations had and the relationships made. I am currently looking to bring my years of experience from the restaurant industry to a new level, where I can utilize and grow my skills.
