Dressed in Love Ministries Inc. is a 501c3 nonprofit that provides dresses, accessories, hair, makeup and nail painting to girls going to their prom who otherwise may not have had the opportunity to go. Although inner beauty triumphs physical adornment, every girl enjoys being pampered once in a while. Prom is a night where every girl going will be dolled up and usually for a huge cost. By providing these services for free, our mission is to show the humble love of Christ to girls who may not be able to afford the dress or the salon. This is also an opportunity to get to know local girls and encourage them by reminding them of their inner beauty and that they are loved as they are.More than just a prom ministry, but a movement to encourage and equip young women to become who they were made to be. This ministry began in 2015 by asking for a few friends to donate dresses to help a handful of local girls. The idea took off and God has taken it to a new level of impact. “So, chosen by God for this new life of love, dress in the wardrobe God picked out for you: compassion, kindness, humility, quiet strength, discipline. Be even-tempered, content with second place, quick to forgive an offense. Forgive as quickly and completely as the Master forgave you. And regardless of what else you put on, wear love. Our mentoring program manager recruits women from diverse vocational, economic, and educational backgrounds and pair each mentor with a high school girl from our Community Bridges Girls Program.Throughout the course of a year, mentor and mentee work together to achieve the mentee’s long-and short-term goals while developing a close, caring relationship based upon consistency, mutual respect and trust.Mentors and mentees engage in monthly training activities and events including youth development workshops, service opportunities, and college tours. A Mentor Discussion and Activity Guide provides topics to discuss including career prospects, mental health and body image, and self-efficacy/advocacy.

Coordinates and manages the MFRI Social Media accounts, posts and policies.

Coach Lead is a volunteer position that works to facilitate the Girls on the Run curriculum to participants and ensure that the program is delivered as intended. This position works closely with the Program Manager and Program Coordinator and entails consistently attending all weekly lessons during the season. Coach Leads will need time to prepare for each lesson in advance, if they are going to lead the lesson that day. Additionally, Coach Leads should plan to complete online and in-person training, plus CPR/FA training (if applicable). Coach Leads should also plan to attend the end-of-season 5K to participate with their team. Major responsibilities include: managing and communicating with Coaches and Jr. Practice Partners; preparing season schedule to ensure adequate coaching staff is present at eat lesson and CPR/FA certified coach is present at each lesson; collaborating with Site Liaison on communicating important GOTR information such as 5k details, and actively engaging with team families; preparing, organizing, and supervising weekly lessons and leading assigned lessons; facilitating and participating in the practice 5K, community impact project, and end of season celebration; participating in the 5k with the team; coaching program participants on proper stretching, running form, hydration and sports nutrition; serving as a role model and mentor for program participants; understanding and believing in the mission of the organization; acting as a spokesperson for the program.

Assist in successfully running the rope course and meeting targets including equipment, facilities, health and safety, guest-care and administration. Maintain security of the course, cabin and equipment. Check and maintain all PPE and records as required. Assist guests with enquiries and bookings. Make sure all participants comply with company rules and requirements. Instruct and brief guests in the safety procedures and demonstrate the safe system of operation on the course. Monitor every participant individually through the briefing state and subsequent site. Confirm participants’ competence to continue beyond briefing stage.
