CurrentVelomacchi is a DTC and B2B retail company that specializes in soft-goods gear for the commuter and mobile professional. Jena has worn many hats at Velomacchi and has also supported online retail operations, wholesale and distributor operations, customer service, marketing, and financial teams. As brand director, Jena first developed PR content and later worked closely with the company’s PR partner to oversee outreach strategies and content development. Utilizing her background in imagery and story-telling, Jena helped create the brand of Velomacchi from the ground up and within four years, collaboratively worked with the founders team to secure significant seed-funding and Velomacchi's acceptance into Oregon's newest business and product accelerator, Built Oregon. Responsibilities:• Ensured brand messaging and customer experience is consistent across all customer touch points• Managed the overall marketing calendar, including major campaigns, product launches, e-commerce marketing activities, events, and core marketing activities.• In collaboration with founder and external contractors, managed the marketing budget allocation.• Oversaw social media and email campaign plan executions, ensuring objectives are met and brand standards are adhered to. • Measured success of marketing executions; analyzing market growth and sell-through brand awareness through data analysis using inbound marketing apps such as Hubspot, Sharpspring.• Established marketing process and planning timelines, creative approvals, and protocol for international and domestic marketing collaborations with Velomacchi.• Facilitated communication between Velomacchi and its partner agencies (media, retail, digital) to ensure on-point creative outcome and media placement• Managed photography and video pre-production, working with studios and founder to create shooting schedule, secure talent, manage day-of production, and direct post-production to create cohesive media and design execution.
