In 2021 I was promoted to the role of Course Coordinator, which involved working with the management team to prepare and deliver the intensive Pre-sessional Academic English course for over 1000 international students who are taught by around 70 tutors for the 11 or 6-week intensive courses. Working closely with the Course Leads in order to design and create relevant support materials for tutors to ensure they could effectively teach their students using multiple online edTech platforms and a Blended Teaching approach. Managing a fully remote team of 12 tutors over the summer course of 2021 and a team of 8 over the summer of 2022.- Proposed and led a UX Research project to review the changes to the course and evaluate their impact in order to inform the design of future courses. Using Qualitative research methods and UX Research Tools including Stakeholder Interviews, Personas and Journey Maps to generate key insights to present to the Director of Studies and Course Leads. The project was extended in 2023. - Delivered a week of training to my team of tutors and then managed the team for the duration of the course in order to make sure that they were teaching to a high standard and meeting all the course goals so that their students could pass the course.- Wrote a report for the course director in 2021 to identify problems and possible solutions to a number of issues that had arisen during a particularly challenging course. Many of the points were actioned and led to improvements for the 2022 programmes.
