I manage a newsroom of enterprising fact checkers across several states who are striving to keep our social media and public space clear of misinformation and communally sensitive disinformation that can result in real-life implications.I have worked closely with Facebook and Google along with other international fact checkers and researchers on several pioneering fact checking projects. These associations have helped me understand the ecosystem of misinformation better and calibrate our responses to ensure information credibilityBefore joining BOOM, I worked as the Senior Editor at Business Standard’s Digital vertical and played a key role in synergising the print and web operations.
