While the subject matter has always varied - from supporting women- and minority-owned small businesses to programs aimed at improving the lives of individuals and families impacted by the criminal justice system - what has remained constant is my focus on equity. I completed my undergraduate coursework at The Ohio State University (Spanish and Middle East Studies) and received a Master of Social Work from Boston University, specializing in macro (systems) practice with a certificate in human services management. When not working, eating, or sleeping you can find me either in my art studio or at the gym.
