Lead designer for our website builder

I worked on a cross-functional team that improved our core search experience. These areas of focus include design system creation, product design, and information architecture. This covers the full life cycle of design discovery work (strategy, wireframes, design, and prototyping) as well as supporting execution for our engineering teams. I provided leadership/coaching to the design team on problem definition, responsive strategy, performance considerations, and atomic design.Notable projects:+ Creation of AXL our cross-platform design system which includes components and usage guidelines for all agile project teams across Autotrader. Manages governance process and backlog. + Designed prototype that captures dynamic and personalized concepts to shape the product roadmap for the next 3+ years.+ Released new login experience that doubled social sign-ins, reduced friction in registrations, improved password retrieval, and greatly reduced customer support sales calls.

Lead UX Designer for flows involving acquiring new customers online or through an agent. Our goal was to continuously identify how to optimize our experiences and also make them cohesive across different channels. Worked closely with business managers to define, design and test the experience. Worked directly with IT managers, developers, and testers to see concepts taken into production.Notable Projects:+ Combined mobile and flash quoting applications into a single application utilizing a mobile-first responsive approach.
