-Counsel clients on distribution and supply chain issues, including those involving manufacturers, service providers, suppliers, distributors and sales representatives. -Draft, negotiate and review commercial contracts, including manufacturing, supply chain and distribution agreements, product agreements, professional services agreements and technology agreements. -Counsel clients on complex business matters and offer innovative and strategic solutions

-Work in collaboration with the Procurement Department and other Firm departments to negotiate contracts for various technical, personal and professional services -Support the Office of the General Counsel with ongoing and special initiatives-Review and provide counsel to Firm staff and attorneys on agreements with clients

-Manage and oversee the day to day operations of the contracts team-Collaborate with client business leaders to streamline the client’s contract processes-Train and mentor new attorneys to develop their contract drafting and negotiation skills-Negotiate complex contracts for pre-clinical research, commercial services and IT transactions

• Work directly with large wireless service providers in effort to upgrade and improve their wireless networks by reviewed cell tower Leases, Amendments, and Rights-of-Way and reported on recommended improvements• Research and coordinate applicable planning, zoning codes, and regulations affecting the development of cell sites for wireless service providers.

As an intern I worked in conjunction with staff attorney on matters relating to employment law, contract law, workers compensation, intellectual property, civil litigation and more. I was permitted to attended labor relations meetings, and advise athletes on provisions of the Collective Bargaining Agreement. During my time with the AFL I also played an integral part in a sponsorship breach of contract suit by drafting documents, participating in depositions, and overall research of the claims.

Researched athletic department issues using NCAA’s LSDBi, CAI, and eligibility center.

Participated in stipulations between parents regarding family matters. Appeared on the record in paternity and child support hearings to which the State was a party. Researched legal issues relating to child support, bankruptcy, custody, and placement.

Conducted research on civil rights issues, largely related to police brutality, wrongful termination, and other equal rights matters. Interviewed clients, prepared subpoenas, contributed to discovery, pretrial matters and trial preparation.

• Prepared waivers and self-reports and conducted relevant research for the same.• Reviewed and edited SIU Athletic Department policies and procedures manual.• Monitored recruiting for coaches by tracking official visits, academic eligibility and essential compliance documentation.
