Scientist by education and artist at heart; these seemingly paradoxical identities give me a kaleidoscope of characteristics that have guided me through a variety of positions in my developing career. As a creative problem-solver who looks at any project or role as a puzzle, I see solutions as ongoing challenges. How can it be improved? Is there a more efficient or functional solution? Small annoyances in a pipeline or "the way things are" should not remain that way: there's always a way to make it better.I am a firm believer that in any role, success results in a contribution, no matter how "small", that enhances experiences for all those involved. More specifically, bringing something that is uniquely you to a role will create perspectives and results that may not otherwise have come up.From artistic roles to leadership, mentorship and analytical research, I approach all projects with an open mind and enthusiasm for learning. Not knowing something is a temporary state of being that can be rapidly corrected with zeal.
