Working on the Network Expansion project, I was part of a busy team coordinating new build and in-fill projects through the planning, finance and resourcing stages using the Fulcrum workflow engine and Oracle DB software. Working collaboratively with planning partners and internal stakeholders my role was to coordinate field build teams on the Virgin Media broadband network growth programme.

Working as a Project Coordinator and then Project Manager for this progressive, rapidly expanding software development company in Sheffield I was responsible for a wide and varied portfolio of clients in the Rail, Construction and Healthcare sectors. The major projects I have worked on are:• The RailSmart suite of web and mobile applications which includes an Employee Development System, an Incidents and Defect Logging system, and a Staff Rostering solution that 3squared designed, built and licenced to multiple rail clients• Health Gateway mobile and web portal for AXA PPP Healthcare customers to set health goals and record and monitor progress towards achieving them• A mobile Android app built in partnership with Unilever that monitors tooth brushing activity with a prototype digital toothbrush promoting better cleaning techniques in children and adultsMy role as Project Manager involved leading a team of UI/UX designers, developers, QA’s and managing relationships and communication with both internal and external project stakeholders.Collaboratively working in small multi-disciplinary Agile teams, designing and building user led mobile and web applications, we iteratively deployed software to a defined delivery schedule in line with agreed timescales.

Working in the Application Development Team in this busy UK wide law firm, the role involves working on an ongoing project to develop, implement and support a bespoke case management system to 1500 users across nine UK offices. I act as the main contact point between the Development Team and the business, whilst also liaising with IT Training and Support teams. My role involves:• Communicating Development issues, system notices and enhancements to internal teams and user groups, tailoring the message to the audience accordingly.• Attend process mapping and requirements gathering exercises with Business Analysts and user groups from the business.• Present and demonstrate the new case management system to new internal user groups.My role is to liaise between the IT Development function and business users, within a legal environment, to ensure that items communicated are translated effectively between the two to ensure the smooth running of development workstreams.

As Project Manager for Clarity Information Solutions, a software integration company in South Yorkshire. Clarity specialise in Document Management Systems and Content Management Solutions to public and private sector organisations across the UK including HM Treasury, the UK Atomic Energy Authority and a number of police forces and fire services.My role involves managing and maintaining multiple new projects and existing support contracts from initial business requirements analysis, technology deployment, change management and whole-life system support. I report to stakeholders and directors on a monthly basis, providing a detailed financial breakdown of progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

In my second stint with Cap Gemini I was contracted as a Desktop Project Technician working on clearing a backlog of IT Service Requests.

An initial three month contract extended to six months in which I was contracted as a Desktop Support Technician to over 2000 users in the Corus steelworks across 3 sites in South Yorkshire. I was also involved in the DISOE desktop refresh project at the Rotherham Corus site working on data transfer, software installation and hardware rollouts.

Working as Local Support Analyst supporting 350 users in the Sheffield office of this busy international law firm. My role was to be the face of IT to Sheffield users, managing helpdesk calls, hardware and software support, dealing with 3rd party contractors and liaising with DLA's IT Learning and Central IT Team in Leeds.I was involved in numerous rollouts throughout the organisation including a Worksite Document Management System rollout, new Dell Laptop and Desktop PC rollout which also involved upgrading from Windows 2000 to XP, and played a key role in the successful Hard Copy implementation which involved replacing all HP printers in UK DLA offices with Xerox multifunction devices.employment The main project I was involved with was the relocation to a purpose built new office in central Sheffield. As the primary onsite IT contact for Sheffield I worked closely with the Project Managers to ensure the move to No.1 St Paul's Place ran smoothly. I also gained valuable experience managing budgets whist with DLA. In spring 2005 I was chosen to take over the management of the Workstation Accessories budget.

Starting as a Trainee IT Support Engineer with the business outsourcing company CSL in 1998, I quickly established myself as an integral member of a large team providing 1st line support to the CSL Group and Sheffield City Council, encompassing all council directorates, totalling over 4000 users on a multi-site, multi-domain, wide area network. In July 2000 the CSL Group IT services department was outsourced to SX3 (GB) and my employment TUPE transferred across. My role as a Support Engineer remained essentially the same under SX3 but over time I took on more responsibilities.In September 2001 I was promoted to Technical Team Leader supervising a team of 6 engineers, a role encompassing greater responsibility and influence in policy decisions whilst continuing with my support engineer duties.
