MLS Librarian (Southern Connecticut State University Class of 2011) currently working for the Manchester Public Library as a Librarian 1. I have worked in public libraries for almost ten years, first as a volunteer at the Meriden Public Library, then as a clerk at the Cheshire Public Library, a Sunday LTA substitute at Hamden Library, a LTA at CPL, and finally as a Library Assistant at Wethersfield Library. I have extensive knowledge of SIRSI Workflows and Sierra (III), having spent years in both the circulation and technical services departments. In May 2017 I will speak with my Gaming Roundtable co-chair at the Connecticut Library Association's 2017 Annual Conference on why gaming in libraries is important. Later in the month I will be at the Rhode Island Library Association's 2017 Annual Conference with a poster session on gaming in libraries.In April 2016 I will gave two presentations at the Connecticut Library Association's 2016 Annual Conference on board gaming in libraries as well as using iBeacon technology.
