PURPOSE STATEMENTS – To lead and be the creative director on the interior portion of our renovations and furnishing projects. To actively support, train, and guide the interior designers and architects on staff providing company insight, protocol, and creative backing throughout the design process. To be the communications liaison from the builder / contractor, project manager, and client reinforcing constant connection and relationships throughout the construction phase and to completion.ROLES – • Be the creative lead to the design team in the design phase of the renovation and furnishing projects for the best possible outcome.• Ensures facilitation of a project’s completion from consultation, presentation, sourcing, to installation.• Manages and assists multiple projects at once.• Works closely with the design team throughout the process of the design phase including design meetings and for the scope of each project’s specifications.• Generates and assists with AutoCAD drawings of floor plans and detailed elevations, based on client’s needs, to be used in client presentations and on job sites.• Works directly with the design team to create and present AutoCAD drawings, look sheets, surface materials, color palettes, lighting, and detailed drawings & specifications.• Skillfully supports the design team when producing furniture layouts, floor plans, and specifications for accuracy throughout the design construction phase.• Sources and works with outside vendors to procure and coordinate all fixtures, furniture, and accessories. • Passionately takes initiate to make a positive change or help the design process run smoothly for both the design team and client communications.• Updates the design team on current design trends and encourages field trips to design centers to increase inspiration and creativity. • Actively communicates with the project manager, builder / contractor, and client to assure consistent dialogue between all parties during the construction phase on a weekly basis.• Creates an enthusiastic and personable approach, as the client liaison, with all included parties involved during the construction phase to completion. • Conducts weekly site visits and communicates with the contractors and subcontractors for assurance of accuracy of the designs. • Thoughtfully engages in and with client’s project needs, concerns, well-being, and their neighbors (if needed) to ease the disruptions during the construction phase.
