I am excited for the opportunity to begin my career as a Software Engineer. This field is constantly growing and evolving, and the chance to be able to shape new technologies is extremely exciting. I've been honing my unique experience and developing my skills through my education as a Computer Engineering major at Western New England University. This unique major gives me a great perspective and knowledge about the low-level workings of computer and server systems. This knowledge enables me to write high-level software with key Architecture and Design Principles in mind to write efficient and time-sensitive code. I am happy to discuss projects I have worked on that demonstrate these skills. On top of my educational experience and hands-on project experience, I also have a wealth of experience working in related positions. I had two amazing internships with Fidelity Investments, where I worked with incredibly talented teams to improve an internal financial management software and to develop an architectural framework and example applications to show how to track metrics for other applications. I also have gained valuable experience through my job as a Desktop Support Technician with the Office of Information Technology at WNE. I have gathered a huge amount of respect for individuals who work in Information Technology. It is my belief that my skillset and combination of experience means that I will bring a unique, diverse perspective to this field, and my energy and attitude make me an ideal candidate for entry-level positions.
