At The Children's Place I was hired as a Sales Lead with came with more responsibilities than an average sales associate. I was in charge of closing and opening the store which involved counting the registers, doing paperwork, cleaning up the store, doing promos and price changes, and making sure my fellow associates were doing their jobs.

I started out working at Target as a Starbucks Barista, as well as a cashier. With these two titles I had the basic responsibility of providing our guests with great service, which sometimes included taking their order as well as making it, checking out any items they are purchasing, helping them/explaining the target app, simply treating everyone with respect, and much more. Eventually I started working in the "Hardlines," part of the store which is pretty much everything except for the clothing departments, such as makeup, cleaning supplies, home decor, grocery, etc.,. With this job title I was responsible for making sure everything was where it was supposed to be, or putting things back, as well as restocking items, and just making sure everything is neat. Next I made my way to "Softlines," which is the clothing departments of the store. In Softlines my responsibilities included straightening the clothes, putting clothes back where they belong, putting away items from the fitting room, and putting items out onto the floor from the truck. Before I left Target I was granted a promotion which included the title of "GSA," which stands for Guest Service Attendant. With this title I was responsible for opening or closing registers and putting the money away in the safe, giving or getting change for cashiers, as well as watching the front end of the store which included the cash registers (regular as well as self-checkout), Guest Service, and Pizza Hut as well as Starbucks. I made sure every customer was being taken care of, and making sure my fellow associates were doing their jobs proficiently or helping them if needed. I also was responsible for keeping track of everyone's breaks and making sure they take them as well as covering their position during that time.

At Bruster's I started out as a "scooper," which is the title anyone who works in the front of the store and waits on customers starts out with. My responsibilities as a scooper was to take as well as make customer's orders. I also was responsible for cleaning a specific zone during closing or opening, making cakes and pies, replacing the ice cream tubs, and keeping the store as clean as possible. I eventually earned the promotion Crew Leader, which meant when the manager wasn't there I was responsible for taking over. I was in charge of opening and closing the store which included cleaning, counting the registers and safe, paperwork, as well as fulfilling customers orders or store goals. I was also responsible of taking the deposit to the bank and/or getting change for the registers.
