Hello, I’m Jenna. I am a former art educator who has also contributed her creative skills to a range of fields. What I find to be most familiar in UX design is the process of discovering how to best serve my audience. Whether it be a student in my class, a viewer of my art, or a user trying my prototype, I must understand where they are coming from to give them an experience that makes them learn and feel successful. I do this by engaging with my clients’ users to find out where they struggle and ask critical questions to deepen my understanding of their problems. I then brainstorm options to solve the problem. When I arrive to the best solution, I share it with my client and with their approval I begin to develop the idea. Through user testing, I learn what users focus on and how to design my product so that it aligns with their expectations.
