I am a recent graduate of Trinity College Dublin, having obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Political Science. Through my degree I have developed a keen interest in the area of public policy, having taken various modules on the subject of economic and political issues surrounding policy making. This is an area that I am hoping to pursue in my future endeavors.Entrepreneurship is something that I am very passionate about, and I have a very innovative background. Throughout college I ran my own Art business, and have undertaken many creative projects throughout the years. I created a small social media platform to promote my Art and Craft business, from which I have received several commissions. I am constantly trying to develop my skills and improve my performance in any way that I can. Having completed my degree this year in Economics and Politics, I decided to take up additional part-time course in order to further expand my learning and provide me with a well-rounded view on areas of interest to me. Enterprise and innovation is something that I am very interested in and as a result I am currently enrolled in a course for Women Entering Business (WEBNET) provided by PARTAS and funded by the European Union. This course is designed to mentor and support female entrepreneurs, and teach them the skills necessary for owning your own business. By the end of this course, I will have completed QQI modules in Career Planning and Business Planning. I am also currently undertaking a course in Applied Digital Marketing in TU Dublin, which together with my degree, will hopefully give me a broader sense of what internal and external forces affect businesses today. This is an area that I have always been passionate about and I am grateful for the opportunity to expand my knowledge and learning.
