About Jenna Pieper
Jenna Pieper is an associate professor of management at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln. She received her Ph.D. from the School of Business at the University of Wisconsin – Madison in 2011. She also holds a M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tulsa and B.A. in Psychology and Business from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Dr. Pieper’s research interests are in the areas of Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Workplace Diversity. She studies the influence of HR practices (e.g., compensation and recruitment practices) and diversity factors (e.g., surface-level and deep-level factors) on employee outcomes at three points in time throughout the employment relationship: entry, employment, and exit. Her research has been published or is in press in Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Management, Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, the Best Paper Proceedings of the Annual Meeting of the Academy of Management, and Human Resource Management.
