CurrentHead of the consumer lending division of a fintech-focused bank, including unsecured personal loans, auto loans, HELOC (home equity line of credit), and small business loans exceeding multi-hundred million dollars in portfolio size. Lead the product roadmap, technology exploration, and implementation of new tools and systems to optimize loan performance and portfolio growth. Define optimal strategies, product structure, and features. Develop go-to-market strategy, managing loan relationships, servicing, and working cross-functionally within bank teams. Routinely conduct build vs buy analysis for internal tools and external customer-facing customer experience (CX) resources. Continually optimize the user experience (UX) of the loan application process and champion for better outcomes internally and externally. Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, risk, analytics, and finance teams.Provide reporting and report to the executive committee on project status, deliverables, and action items. Prepare and present to the board regarding financial performance and expected returns and/or losses.Oversee strategy and execution for the bank's community reinvestment lending in the Kansas City marketplace.Actively seeking external strategic lending partnerships to grow nbkc's fintech footprint for lending-as-a-service or banking-as-a-service (LAAS or BAAS).Key Accomplishments:-Spearheaded multi-million dollar portfolio growth for consumer loans, resulting in the largest year of growth and portfolio size in the bank's 25 year history.-Develop a nationwide expansion of home equity products, including a shift in LOS platforms, automating underwriting, loan administration tasks, and remote closing capabilities.-On-board lending-as-a-service fintech company and oversee $80MM+ in portfolio loans.-Worked with community partners to create programs to support low income neighborhoods with small dollar, low cost lending services.
