Button became Junior Art Director under Mel Miller's guidance and with him, they were responsible for the Citi Golf campaign, amongst others, like Ronald Sassoon and Bally of Switzerland footwear. She worked on Jumbo Golf, when first introduced.She started Jenni Button the designer label in Adderley Street in 1984, and went on to win 9 Fair Lady, Catherine awards for her contribution to SA fashion over the next 12 years. Button left Jenni Button(Pty)Ltd in 1999 and started her new label PHILOSOPHY.
