Developing and reviewing online XERO and MYOB Courses products for business modules across multiple countries including the US, Australia and the UK.

I was responsible for the integrity of financial information and systems for the Cafe and Chocolate company. During this period the business went through a number of events including the merger of the two businesses, multiple insurance claims, building disposal, IRD negotiations plus the migration of the accounting system from MYOB to Xero.Other duties included managing payables and receivables, payroll, generating weekly and monthly management accounts, GST, annual financial accounts, cash flow management, budgets and forecasting as well as training of bookkeepers.

I was an active participant and advisor in Board meetings to support the strategic direction of the business.

I operated as an independent MYOB Consultant for over 500 companies in the San Francisco Bay Area providing comprehensive training to get the best out of your MYOB software. This role included systems and workflow, regular audits for tax and management reporting, team training, bookkeeping training, annual upgrades and courses. Software installations and upgrades, trouble shooting accounting and IT issues. I also supported MAC World for a number of years as a member of their annual MYOB training team in San Francisco. I was affectionately known by my colleagues as the ‘patient one’ able to deal with any client!

I was a member of a small audiovisual production team working on major proposals and presentations for Merrill Lynch and their Brokers. This was a fun journey that brought me around the globe working on the design and editing of presentations for a variety of business topics.
