The beneficiary of this charity work is directed to the Glycomics Department of Griffith University, concentrating on Equine Influenza Research under Professor Mark von Itzstein . Equine Influenza brought much of the racing industry to a stop in Australia a couple of years ago and of the 7 universities in the world equipped for this research, only one is in Australia and that is Griffith University Gold Coast Campus.Every event is focused on the racing industry with prominent guest speakers and specific luncheons for major racing events are held throughout th year.This s a small précis of work done by Women In Racing Inc, Australia.Griffith University awarded me an Honorary Fellowship for my club's support for the institute for Glycomics; Equine Influenza and Hendra Virus research. I am very active within this association having served on this Committee for 8 years. My interests are directed at improving all aspects of racing that affect current owners. I believe issues can be easily resolved and strive for the betterment of the racehorse owners interests.

For 14 years I have co-hosted prestige stud tours within Australia and overseas as well as international racing tours to Royal Ascot, Ireland, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore and New Zealand. These tours are of a very high standard allowing guests entry to the best areas on race tracks and recognised 5 star hotels.
