- Responsible for the planning, execution, and reporting of the annual risk-based internal audit plan (includes operational, compliance, and financial related audit objectives) and the SOX compliance testing program. - Lead the implementation of and evaluation of SOX compliance after IPO in 2014. - Lead the implementation of the COSO 2013 framework for internal controls over financial reporting. - Liaison between external auditors and key control owners/business line management. - Manage and lead a team of 7-8 audit professionals.

Lead audit manager on several public and private community banks and other finance companies in Orange County and the greater Los Angeles area. Prior experience includes in-charging audits of both public and private organizations ranging across several industries including insurance, real estate, higher education, and consumer markets. Manage and motivate multiple teams simultaneously ranging from 5-10+ people per team. Experience includes SEC filings (S-1, S-3, Form 10, 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc), internal control testing under the Sarbanes Oxley Act, execution of all phases of the audit and quarterly reviews, and application of technical accounting and audit concepts including ASC 805- business combinations, ASC 310-30- purchase credit impaired loans, allowance for loan and lease losses, and fair value measurements. Other non-client facing responsibilities including people development/counseling, campus recruiting, and technical sampling specialist support.
