Oversee the Aquatic Department - 25-40 staff depending upon time of year. Scheduling the staff for each session - 8 times a year. Program planning - creating the program catalog 3 times a year and adding new programming when necessary. Training staff - both as Certified Swim Instructors and Lifeguards. Maintaining all staff certifications, including my own. Teaching lessons - one-on-one and in group settings, with participants from the age of 6months to 60+. Work with the other departments - Fitness, Membership, Youth and Family Services to cross-promote programs. Reaching out to the community to find new ways to bring the YMCA mission to people outside of our membership.
