I am currently at the high school level, grades 9 through 12. My most recent experience is predominantly in the digital arts teaching three levels of digital illustration, video production, animation and digital publishing. I also teach advanced level courses that include portfolio development and art studio supporting students who work digitally, with photography and/or traditional mediums. At the high school level, I have also taught drawing, design, metals, glass and ceramics. In addition to art courses, I am the yearbook instructor for a course that is a year long, not a club. My work includes teaching about photojournalism, writing for publications, concept development, visual storytelling, typography, layout and design. While learning about those areas, we use Adobe programs as the tools to accomplish our 224 page publication. This requires time management, workflow management and staff management for 26 individuals. I have not always been at the high school level. I started with seven years at the elementary level in various schools throughout Madison.
