Manages organization consisting of 6 Technical and Non-Technical Program Managers located in both Oregon and Washington in Intel’s Software and Services Group. Supporting Intel’s Data Center Group providing server hardware to internal engineering groups in addition to external software developers. Manages shipping and supporting over 13,000 servers/kits to 70 unique customers in 26 countries totaling over 20 million dollars. Responsible for all aspects of managing the work group, driving continuous improvement efforts in processes and tools used by the work group, ensuring the group meets its commitments and critical success indicators, and defining strategies that maximize the group's long term value. Manages head count fluctuations with changes in business while managing overall department budgets. Responsible for all program roadmaps ensuring all technical requirements are met within budget and resources. Works with Engineers and Managers on customer support, platform quality and functionality for server products throughout the product lifecycle. Works with customers to ensure all technical requirements and expectations are understood and implemented.

Manages all aspects of Intel’s Mobile Communication Tablet Program which includes working across Geo’s with Design Engineers/teams, Product Marketing, Material Organization and Finance to deliver a Tablet Form Factor to showcase Intel’s silicon. Leads the project team and is the key business unit interface for all Material related issues or concerns. Sets goals and deliverable for Engineering to ensure projects stay on track. Identifies tasks, determines dependencies, assesses actual costs against cost targets and drives gap closures. Selects and manages suppliers for all critical components. Identifies issues related to costs, schedule and work to resolve them. Communicates expectations and timelines to the rest of the team members and then holds them accountable to ensure specific timelines and milestones remain on schedule.

Managed organization consisting of 19 Material Program Managers and Buyers supporting three internal factories and all Outsourced North American direct material procurement. Organization supported all North America System and Board Manufacturing in support of Intel’s Reference Design Vehicles (low volume, high mix) and Intel’s Internal Test Equipment. Responsible for all aspects of managing the work group, driving continuous improvement efforts in processes and tools, ensuring the group meets its commitments and critical success indicators, and defining strategies that maximize the group's long term value. Ensures team managed internal inventory and excess to achieve inventory goals. Used extensive knowledge in MRP and Supply Chain Management to help team successfully manage and track consigned inventory at subcons. Led several new on site subcon audits to ensure a successful partnership between Intel and the Subcon. Supplier Management of strategic supply base consisting of Supplier Business Reviews, tracking On-time delivery, and driving cost/Lead-time reductions. Managed spends of over 100 million yearly with cost savings of 6.5 million. Managed department budgets and head count fluctuations with changes in business Led team in successful SAP replatform implementation while ensuring all current business processes were well understood for the US and Kulim. Participated in several trips to Kulim to help train, test, and document business processes for new SAP Procurement and Demand Planning ECC modules, Extensive knowledge in Supply Chain Management, Program management, Procurement and Planning tools/processes.

Planned/managed material and subcon requirements for multiple platforms and Business Unit Partners. Lead team migration from MAX MRP System to SAP. Created training documentation for new SAP modules. Single escalation point for all supplier/material issues and drove them to closure. Management of complex parts in addition to coordinating projects to meet program specific schedule objectives and goals. Provided functional leadership for the materials project team and key interfaces to the project/program. Assessed risk and created mitigation plans. Coordinated resources with other functions, including BOM set up with Design Engineers and Engineering Change Order analysts and factory capacity scheduling requirements with the Master Scheduler. Expedited material movement and resolved issues using thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures in order to perform non repetitive, analytical work. Managed suppliers to quarterly cost, on time delivery and lead-time objectives.

Planned factory capacity and business requirements to meet customer’s needs using MAX and Flex Planning tools. Balanced on hand inventory of finished goods against, backlog and forecast. Managed over 5 different Business Units with over 100 different system skus. Responsible for analyzing material commits against customer needs and making necessary adjustment to the production schedule. Led weekly production meetings with Materials to determine issues and drive for material improvements to meet business needs while balancing factory capacity. Coordinated with production for overtime requirements to support business needs.

Used APICS training to help team transition to using true MRP functionality (MAX System) verses manual data manipulation which resulted in a more agile and effective team. Strategic responsibilities included creating training for all buyers on MRP functionality and ensuring training documentation was created and followed. Responsible for all buyer responsibilities required to support MRP and daily inventory analysis. Required an adherence to strict cost, lead-time, quality and continuous improvement goals for supply base in support of Intel’s New Product Introductions. Responsibilities included purchasing raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, services and supplies. Worked with vendors/suppliers to help develop and ensure product specifications were met.

Provided material support for Boeing Auburn facility utilizing Baan MRP system. Worked closely with Industrial Engineers to release orders for factory production by analyzing needs with material availability. Helped team successfully migrate to the Baan system, creating training documentation for the materials team.

Managed team of 10-20 employees while also buying clothing to support women’s department. Responsibilities included analyzing reports to determine best-selling items and then reordering, supporting new season buys 4 times a year and merchandizing floor. Other responsibilities included managing HC and weekly schedule needs for spikes in business due to seasonality.
