Escrow Account Supervisor• Supervise escrow departments at three branches with post-closing escrow disbursement of funds more than $7.5 million a month, this includes balancing ledger for each file, preparing checks for mailing and wiring payoff funds in a timely manner that complies with all federal and state requirements. • Approval of daily reconciliations of all escrow accounts after researching and correcting any issues. • Assists management with compiling information for multiple yearly underwriter audits.Human Resources • Recruits and pre-screens applicants, assists supervisors on the interviewing/hiring process and the promotion or transfer of current employees to authorized openings.• Provides information on current policies, procedures, and guidelines as needed to management and employees. • Update and distribute for required signatures Employee Handbook and employment documents. • Monitor, approve or deny, employee time off according to employee handbook.• Monitor employee time cards and make corrections as needed. Bookkeeping • Audit/approve employee expense reports. • Process all accounts payable and accounts receivable payments via check, online, or through bank software. • Prepare and distribute daily report to owners, management and employees. • Process payroll for 15-20 employees via 3rd party payroll software. Compliance • Write Pillar 2 (Accounting) section of the Best Practices Handbook and ensure compliance of TRID Best Practices procedures and employee handbook. • Provides guidance to supervisors related to federal and state laws, current policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure uniform compliance.
